Frame - Wood, golden - An early-20th-century dumpster

Elegant and refined antique box-frame dating from the early years of the 20th century. The piece stands out for its cupped, box-like structure with wide, inclined bands, characterized by a warm, handmade gilding and a rich original patina in muted tones (gold, ochre, and brown) that highlight the grain and the authenticity of the wood beneath. An element of particular aesthetic value is the internal battuta, adorned with a finely carved molding in a gadrooned or dentil motif that creates a striking play of shadows, adding depth and emphasis to the work housed. On the top side there is the sturdy original wrought-iron hook for wall mounting.
