Iconic actor of theater and cinema, Armand Meffre acted under the direction of major filmmakers, alongside Philippe Noiret, Jean Rochefort or Gérard Depardieu.
Trained in painting with master André Lhote, he developed a sensitive, luminous and profoundly humane body of work. His canvases, imbued with tenderness and poetry, reveal a profoundly human gaze, between restrained emotion and sincere simplicity. A complete artist, each painting tells a story and moves with its authenticity.
