Pair of vintage silver-plated centerpiece with precious hand-enameled gold details - Basket with handle and Trinket box with lid - Italy, 1950s

Elegant coordinated pair of vintage decorative and service objects, consisting of a large basket with handle and a trinket box with lid. Both pieces stand out for superb artistic craftsmanship and a refined two-tone contrast. The beautiful floral decorations, entirely hand-embossed and engraved, and the fluted edges are adorned with a gold-plated silver finish that makes the details on the silver body stand out. Both objects mount a silver-plated brass underbase support, as silver-plated as they are and completely the objects.

Details of the first object (Basket with Handle):
• Design: Contoured base and richly fluted edges. The hand-done floral and geometric motif engravings on the rim are elegantly gilded. Equipped with a coordinated curved handle.
• Material: Silver-plated metal with decorations in gold-silver. On the back bears the stamp ARG 1000. Dimensions: maximum height 23 cm, width 21 x 15 cm, weight: 259 grams.
Details of the second object (Trinket Box with Lid):
• Design: Round shape with fluted rim and gilded details. Domed lid embellished with rich hand-carved floral engravings highlighted by gilding, topped by a coordinated central knob.
• Material: Silver-plated metal with decorations in gold-silver. On the back bears the stamp ARG 1000. Dimensions: height to the lid 10 cm, diameter 20 cm, weight: 249 grams.
Estimated era: About the 1950s (20th Century). Precious Italian Sicilian craftsmanship.
Condition of the objects: in pristine vintage condition with era-specific signs visible in the photos. The silver plating retains a good luster and the gilding of the hand-engraved inscriptions is perfectly vivid and well defined, giving an elegant and refined visual impact. No structural damage, no deformation.
