Cellarius, Christoph (praes.) und Andreas Julius Dornmeyer (resp.): - Diatribe Historica De Claudii Drusi Expeditionibus, maxime Germanicis - 1711

Cellarius, Christoph (editor) and Andreas Julius Dornmeyer (responsible): Diatribe Historica De Claudii Drusi Expeditionibus, maxime Germanicis. Halle, Henckel 1711. 16 pp. softcover.

It deals with the Germanic Wars (12 to 9 BCE) of the Roman general Nero Claudius Drusus, the stepson of Emperor Augustus. It analyzes the military expeditions of Drusus. Drusus led the Roman legions as the first commander deep into the unoccupied Germania east of the Rhine, advancing as far as the Elbe, before dying in 9 BCE following a fall from his horse.
