Giuseppe Romano - FIAT - 1970s

One of the most iconic and majestic advertising posters produced for FIAT, titled 'Triumphal Arch'. Created by the renowned artist and poster designer Giuseppe Romano, this piece represents the excellence of the so-called 'Machine Age' advertising graphics at the turn of the century. The work masterfully fuses classical architecture with industrial dynamism: the imposing letters that form the word 'FIAT' take the three-dimensional shape of a majestic Roman triumphal arch, topped by towering bronze quadrigae. From the base of the monument, a fleet of vintage cars speeds toward the future under a sky of warm golden and futuristic hues.
