"Duemila Riflessioni": 2000 colored circles (±), painted by hand, one by one, populate the large canvas like thoughts, memories, and emotions that meet and blend. No one is truly equal to another. On the blue background, small white and black splashes cross the composition, breaking the regularity of the shapes. A LONG WORK OF PATIENCE THAT BECOMES A GAME OF COLOR, A RETURN TO LIBERTY AND TO THE WONDER OF CHILDLIKE GAZE. A unique, unrepeatable work of 100 x 150 cm.

PAOLO CONTIN has pursued a personal artistic path for over twenty-five years, in constant evolution. Trained in design and active since 1980 in the fashion world, he brings to painting a particular sensitivity to color, form, and compositional balance.

Since 1999 he has exhibited his works, and in 2002 he held his first solo show in Padua. Followed by numerous exhibitions in Italy and abroad with appearances in Copenhagen, Munich, Paris, Brussels, Istanbul, Buenos Aires, and Sydney.

Paolo Contin's artistic journey is also documented by his presence in the Catalogo dell''Arte Mondadori'' with related price references. Over the years his works have also been published in Arte Mondadori magazine and in numerous catalogs and volumes produced for solo exhibitions and major art fairs, some of which were published with the support of the Italian Cultural Institute.

He was also among the founding members of "Tostart", an artistic association born from the meeting of ten Veneto artists and active until the period of the Pandemic.

An eclectic and independent artist, Contin has built over the years a recognizable language, far from belonging to a single school or trend. His research traverses geometric abstraction, material and gestural painting, alternating rigor and expressive freedom. Lines, fields, geometric shapes, and intense chromatic relationships become elements of a vocabulary through which he explores balance, movement, and emotion.

Experimentation also extends to sculpture and wood, with works built by layering geometric elements, confirming a search that goes beyond the boundaries of painting alone.

His work continues to evolve today without predefined formulas: every work arises from the will to preserve freedom, identity, and expressive authenticity.
