The Course of the River builds a landscape crossed by a brook whose origin lies outside our sight and whose end we do not reach to know. Between fields and mountains, the water adapts its course, quietly preserving its direction. The work reflects on paths whose beginning and end remain uncertain. Sometimes it seems to move away, but it never fully abandons the direction it once took.

Antonycs resides in Madrid. Trained in visual arts and art history, he has focused his career on photography and painting. His work is deeply inspired by Californian and American West landscape painting, as well as early 20th-century European painting. These references are reflected in his attentive gaze to light and atmosphere, elements that articulate his work.

Paralelly, he has developed an intense career in the logistics and organization of exhibitions in galleries and museums in Spain, Brazil and Italy. His work has been part of numerous group and solo shows, consolidating an artistic practice that combines personal creation and curatorial experience.
