Box - Wood, Maki-e Lacquer Jubako Box

Japanese three-tier lacquered jubako box featuring traditional maki-e and raden (mother-of-pearl) decoration. The black lacquer exterior is adorned with gold pine, bamboo and plum motifs, while the interior is finished with red lacquer.

Crafted with a wooden core and finished with traditional Japanese lacquer techniques. The box is well preserved, showing a smooth surface and finely detailed decoration.

Condition: Very good condition with only minor signs of age and use. Suitable for storage, tea ceremony, decorative display or collection.
