Anonymous - 不到长城非好汉 - 1960s

This is a Chinese propaganda poster or print from the period of the Cultural Revolution (late 1960s / early 1970s).

The text at the bottom (不到长城非好汉):
This literally means: "Who has not reached the Great Wall is not a true hero." This is a famous quote from a poem by Mao Zedong (Qinghai Sheng / Mount Liupan, written in 1935 during the Long March). Today this proverb is often used to say that you must show perseverance to achieve your goals.
