MCS - Small Landscape

Oil painting on canvas belonging to the series of imaginary landscapes, one of the most recognizable themes of my painting research. In this composition, the boundary between reality and dream becomes thin: under an intense sky and a blue sea, yellow and orange fields lead the eye toward a small cluster of houses with cypress trees in strong red and green tones. In the foreground, a pine tree in vivid greens and yellows gives strength and depth to the scene. The chromatic brilliance, the essential geometric shapes, and the suspended atmosphere confer on the work a metaphysical and contemplative character, capable of evoking intimate and lasting impressions.
