Canduela - Cubic spaces 1

The series Espacios Cúbicos is developed in welded and painted steel, mounted on a stone plinth. The sculptures in this series play with individual cubic pieces that create a single sculptural space when assembled. The interplay of rotations, displacements, and assembly generates a complex form with a wide variety of viewpoints, with many nuances and recesses.

This collection of sculptures is presented in series of 10 unique units, numbered and signed by the author.

The vivid color with which the sculptures are presented transports us to contemporary architecture, to industrial manufacturing, or to cutting-edge design, without losing sight of the sculptural point of view. The challenge these pieces aim to achieve is to combine all these visions without distorting any of them.
