Spider-Man #1 (August 1990): The famous "Silver Edition". McFarlane writes and draws a new title dedicated to Spider-Man, breaking all sales records of the era. A comic that redefined the character's aesthetic with his "spaghetti" webs and extreme dynamic poses.

Spawn #1 (May 1992): The absolute debut of Spawn and the birth of Image Comics. After leaving Marvel, McFarlane creates his most famous anti-hero, marking the beginning of one of the most long-running and successful independent series in comic book history.
