ABOUT THE PAINTING:
This work evokes blooming and movement in nature, emerging, dissolving, reforming, echoing my ongoing interest in botany, biology and the emotional architecture of nature. I am drawn to the cycles of life that unfold across bodies and landscapes in their growth, transformation, erosion and resilience, renewal. Thus, the painting moves between the representational and the abstract, carrying the imprint of the seasons, the sediment of decay, the possibility of regeneration.
