Saverio Seassaro attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Genoa, then devoted himself to painting and decoration.
From 1946 he studied in Nervi at Torre Gropallo, where he opened the Seassaro Art Studio.
A landscape painter, faithful to the precise depiction of the subject, he mainly dedicated himself to marine views (Nervi, but also Bogliasco, Boccadasse, Camogli), as well as to depicting the streets of old Genoa.
He actively participated in group, regional and national exhibitions. His works can be found in Italy and abroad in private collections. One of his paintings is owned by the Provincial Tourism Office of Genoa. The painting “Campoligure,” awarded in 1967 with a gold medal, is exhibited at the Chamber of Deputies in Rome.
Saverio Seassaro was awarded in 1973 by the President of the Republic.
