This technical model features on its outer edges calibration and inventory figures deeply struck into the mass, notably the numerical references 963, 889 and 259 on the upper part as well as the number 237 engraved on the lower base. The inside of the block reveals a system of regular compartments with specific rounded shapes to precisely gauge the size of the cigars during the production process. The robust construction of this workshop tool reflects the expertise of specialized manufactures dedicated to tobacco equipment during the last century. The overall dense wood structure features a height of 11 cm, with a total length of 56 cm and a depth of 6 cm. The individual weight of this dense industrial wooden tool reaches a total of 3750 g.
