AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Carl Lindner 1840-1883 was a German painter of the 19th century, prefering alpine landscapes with figures, high mountains and seascapes.
Here is a high-mountain motif, in the foreground a house by a lake, in front a woman in traditional dress and on the lake in the distance a sailing boat.
PAINTING: Oil on canvas, unrestored, with spots in the sky, otherwise well preserved for its age:
46 x 65 cm
FRAME: probably original from the period, aged and painted with gold bronze and edges:
72 x 90 x 8 (H/W/D) cm
SIGNATURE: Bottom center
The painting may need cleaning and the frame refurbished, otherwise a beautiful ensemble.
SHIPPING outside as bulky goods DHL 110 euros
