Antique silver pocket watch, circa 1900, with a finely guilloché case and a manual winding movement, 45 mm in diameter and weighing about 70 g, in very good condition and in working order.

Antique silver pocket watch – circa 1900
Superb antique silver pocket watch, dating from the late 19th century or early 20th century, around 1900. This piece stands out for its finely worked case, guilloché decorations with geometric patterns and its traditional mechanical movement with cylinder escapement.

Dial and hands
The original white enamel dial is in very good visual condition. It features black Roman numerals and an outer minute scale graduated in Arabic numerals. The blued-steel hands are of Louis XV style, called “poire” (pear). A small second is present at 6 o’clock.
Movement
Manual-wind mechanical movement with cylinder escapement. The inscription “Cylindre Remontoir” is engraved on the inner cuvette. The movement comprises 10 jewels.
Running condition: the watch runs very well. The movement starts correctly and the main functions are operational.
Aesthetic condition
Very good overall condition for a watch of this age, with a beautiful natural patina that highlights the case decorations. There are light traces of verdigris visible on the inner edge of the case.
The hinges as well as the inner cuvette close correctly.
