"You Are What You Eat. So I Am Pizza. – XL" is a bold contemporary statement painting that combines humor, everyday culture, and expressive hand-painted typography.

The work features the iconic phrase “YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT. SO I AM PIZZA.” painted by hand in black on a vibrant yellow background. The deliberately imperfect lettering, visible brushwork, and spontaneous line quality give the piece a raw, playful character, while the strong contrast between black and yellow creates a striking graphic presence.

The painting is created on natural cotton canvas, with the rich yellow surface retaining subtle variations and painterly texture. Rather than following a perfectly geometric typographic layout, the words are arranged with a spontaneous, hand-drawn rhythm, emphasizing the character of the artist's gesture.

The combination of humor, bold color, and expressive typography makes the work particularly suited to contemporary, minimalist, creative, and design-focused interiors. It can function both as a statement artwork and as a playful visual accent within a collection.

The artwork is sold unframed and will be shipped rolled in a protective tube. Stretching the canvas onto a wooden stretcher frame is required upon arrival.
