​Splendid and authentic antique wine set from the 1800s consisting of a cylindrical pitcher with pouring spout and handle and two matching hand-formed terracotta glasses on the potter's wheel.
​The pieces come from a precious private family collection, safeguarded and passed down with care from great-grandfather to grandfather. The lot stands out for the extraordinary authenticity of rural craftsmanship from the 1800s.
​The interior of the vessels features a glossy protective glaze with the characteristic concentric grooves left by the artisan's fingers during wheel throwing. The exterior preserves the natural texture of the clay; one of the two glasses shows fascinating dark burn marks from an ancient wood-fired kiln, the result of direct flame exposure during firing.
​Stato di conservazione: The set is solid. As clearly visible in the detailed photos, the pitcher bears the mark of the original junction where the handle attaches and light glaze runs/imperfections typical of artisan handcrafting from the era.

​Exquisite authentic 1800s antique terracotta wine set featuring a hand-thrown pitcher with pouring spout and heavy handle, accompanied by two matching tumblers.
​Part of an authentic family private collection, carefully passed down through generations from great-grandfather to grandfather. Handcrafted on a traditional potter's wheel and fired in a wood-burning kiln.
​The interiors display a rich glaze with visible concentric wheel ridges from the artisan's fingers. The exterior showcases raw terracotta, with one tumbler displaying dark wood-fire marks (flammatures) created by direct flame exposure inside the traditional kiln.
​Condition: Solid overall condition. As clearly shown in the detailed photos, the pitcher features visible hand-crafting marks at the handle junction and natural glaze runs, typical of 19th-century folk pottery.
