The M35 model is the iconic anti-shock helmet of the Italian armored units, featuring a leather shell with felt padding, a characteristic padded donut ring and a neck flap. Produced in large numbers for campaigns in North Africa and the Balkans, it remained in use until the 1960s.
This specimen is 100% original, never restored:
• Black leather with patina of age, scratches and signs of use
• Original front stencil in yellow paint with crossed flags, referable to signal/motorized liaison units of tank regiments. Rare insignia, about 60% visible, much sought after compared to the classic flame crest.
• Internal 6-panel light leather liner with central drawstring
• Original chin strap with buckle
• Two brass vents on the sides
