Vintage collection chess set “Camino de Santiago” from Spain, dated 1980–1990, with 32 zamacueca pieces gilded in gold and silver on a 30×30 cm board and an acrylic lid, one complete set plus a new 40×40 cm Cayro wooden board, pieces 5–7 cm tall, board height 3 cm, all in very good condition.

Spectacular chess, which on its board recreates the different routes to perform the renowned "Camino de Santiago" from the various European countries.
This chess set is made up of a superb board/couch case of 30x30 cm, a complete set of 32 pieces cast in zamacueca and plated in gold and aged silver, each piece carved differently from the others. NO TWO PIECES ARE THE SAME. The lid of this chess set, which is made of acrylic, is used to close this marvelous chess set. The chess set is in like-new condition except for the acrylic lid, which shows a defect on one side, although this does not prevent the pieces from being stored correctly or the game from being played (see photos). The pieces range from about 5 to 7 cm tall.
In addition to this complete and original lot (case and box) I have added a brand-new 40 x 40 cm wooden board from Cayro, which makes this magnificent lot even more complete.
