Born on September 4, 1932 in Alzira (Valencia). His mother died in childbirth and at 11 he moved to Castellón with an adoptive family, so according to his own statements he considers himself born in Castellón and this is stated in some biographies.

In his early years he worked in many different trades, including as a brush painter and industrial painter. He began his artistic studies at the Francisco Ribalta School of Arts and Crafts in Castellón.

In 1954 he moved to Paris where he continued working as a wall painter, until in 1958 the Drouand David gallery discovered his artistic facet and he began his career as a graphic artist and to be known internationally.

In 1963 he returned to Spain and settled in Seville, finally in 1972 settling in his native Castellón after having resided in various places across our geography. In 2010 he settled in his current residence of "Mas de Flors".

Mostly known in Spain for his sculptural work, his pieces are in different continents and in the world's major cities. He works with ceramics, fiberglass, Murano crystal, resin, iron and bronze for the larger sculptures. In painting he uses gouache, Chinese ink, acrylics, etc.
