Cyril Keller - Space Invader

My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978, in Saarland.

My artistic journey began in the early 1990s when I discovered graffiti as my own. From about 1993 to the end of the 1990s, graffiti was my great passion. During this period, my enthusiasm for colors, shapes and creative expression developed—the foundation of my painting today.

In 2015 I found my path into abstract art. A completely new creative world opened up for me, a world that continues to inspire me to this day. Since then I have devoted myself with great passion to abstract painting and continuously experiment with new techniques, color compositions and image structures.

I am particularly fascinated by the unique shapes and structures that arise from the squeegee technique. Each painting is, for me, a new journey of discovery, where intuition, creativity and a willingness to experiment come together. As a self-taught artist I love continually evolving and finding new ways to bring emotions and dynamism onto the canvas.

Today I consciously take more time for my art than ever before and look to the future with enthusiasm. My goal is to create works that touch people, stimulate their imagination and bring them lasting joy.

The most beautiful thing about abstract art, for me, is its openness. Every viewer discovers something of their own, brings their personal thoughts, feelings and experiences into a painting, and lets it affect them in a completely individual way. It is precisely this connection between the artwork and the viewer that makes abstract painting so special to me.
