Table sculpture in the shape of a hat, Fedora/Cowboy model, usable as a paperweight or decorative accessory, made in Italy by a silverware workshop in Florence at the end of the 20th century (post-1968).
The object is in good condition, structurally intact and free of dents or deep cracks, as shown by the attached photographs; the metal surface preserves the natural patina of time. The building material is sterling silver with a fineness of 925 millesimals, applied with a relief technique on an internal structural filling core that provides stability to the piece.
On the external band are clearly impressed the four legal hallmarks: the silver fineness "925", the official Italian State mark with the star and the provincial abbreviation "FI" (Florence), the exact indication of the weight of the precious metal used, i.e., "gr 20", and the two maker’s marks, one rectangular and one pyramidal. The color of the item is the classic silver gray with natural dark patinas in the grooves that enhance its three-dimensionality. The maximum detected dimensions are 9 cm in length, 8 cm in width, and 5 cm in height, for a total weight of 160 grams.
