La Fontaine set (4 volumes): Subscribed series under the same small number 23 on Vergé du Marais paper (limited edition of 900 copies).
Nerciat & Duclos set (2 volumes): Numbers 519 on Vergé du Marais paper.
The books contain about 250 pages each.
Condition of the set:
Interior: Very good overall condition for the entire 6 volumes. Paper with a nice freshness, very clean inside, excellent preservation of the engravings and marbled guards.
Bindings / Covers: Handling wear and patina on the boards, corners crushed.
Special note: The volume Les Amours de Psyché shows a separated upper hinge and a tear at the headcap (see dedicated photos). The other 5 bindings are solid despite external wear.
