AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Scarce and limited work. This was not a commercial edition - and the limitation states explicitly that all copies were made for friends of de Laborderie and Mercier, and that none were intended for sale.
Signed by both the poet and the illustrator, is is number 12 of a total limitation of 60 copies; 50 on Velin and 10 on other paper. This is one of the copies on Velin. Dedication is to MonsieurJean Mercier. Presumably a relative. Probably Jean Adrien Mercier - important local artist and poster designer.
Grey soft covers with a pale blue embossed design to the front. Slight cracking to the spine at the top and bottom. A touch of intermittent foxing to the pages.
Unpaginated. 24 x 19 cm.
Conforms to OCLC: 491527864. Only one library (in Angers, France) has a copy.
Seller's Story
We are professional booksellers based in France, and have been members of ILAB for many years. We currently hold full membership of SLAM, as well as other organisations. We also sell at fairs and markets across Europe.
We are often found at brocantes and marches, searching for books and prints. We are also always interested in acquiring new stock from individuals, so if you have books or prints to sell, do get in touch.
We are proud to purchase biodegradable packaging and materials. Where possible, all of our book wrap and tape are compostable or re-cyclable. If you do receive any plastic bubble wrap from us - it is because we are re-using items we have received.
