The volume gathers more than 150 Sunday pages, reproduced for the first time in their original format and in color, allowing full appreciation of the graphic richness and Herriman's exceptional layout.
The book also includes a selection of earlier creations by George Herriman made for the Sunday papers between 1901 and 1906, including Professor Otto, The Two Jackies and Major Ozone.
Feature of this copy: the original Krazy Kat postcards are present.
Edition edited by Patrick McDonnell and Peter Maresca, with contributions notably from Michael Tisserand and Art Spiegelman.
