Muonionalusta meteorite Superb IVA octahedrite with Windmanstatten patterns and fusion crust, - Height: 77 mm - Width: 36 mm - 72.48 g - (1)

Very pretty slice of the Muonionalusta meteorite, finely etched.
Historical iron meteorite from 1906, originating from Muonionalusta, Sweden, .

Particularity :
- this IVA octahedrite has here superb Windmanstatten patterns!
- it mainly shows a portion of its crust, preserved on one side of the slice (with, of course, a very slight oxidation at this height, where the ferrous metal is more present!)
- and adds to its substantial weight a nice thickness!
