Merlini - Statue, Madonna met Kind - 51 cm - Painted, Plaster

Atmospheric and characterful vintage plaster statue of Mary with the Child Jesus. This model (V17) was designed by the artist Andrea Merlini and produced in a Belgian plaster workshop around the 1950s (Mid-Century).

The statue stands out for the beautiful color combination of a deep blue cloak with gold-colored details and the recognizable flowing, almost stylized Art Deco lines.
