Bruno Hess (1888-1949) - Motiv bei Eisenerz (Steiermark)

An oil painting by Bruno Hess (1888-1949) from Austria.
The picture shows a farm, with the Styrian mountains in the background, the Eisenerz region. Painted on a wooden board. The painting is 57 cm high and 77 cm wide, measured without a frame. The frame is a gold ornate frame, which due to its age already shows small cracks in places and, as visible in the pictures, at one spot is slightly chipped.
The signature is located at the bottom right edge of the painting.
I inherited this painting from my late husband, who had it from his grandmother. According to my husband, his grandmother personally received it as a gift from the artist. I cannot verify that unfortunately.
The painting will be shipped with the frame.
