The nature of the technique I use makes every piece in the series a unique and unrepeatable work. The dimensions and texture of the final piece may differ slightly from the photos and the stated measurements.
The work consists of a pyramidal prism, interrupted three-quarters of the way by a hollowed portion. I regard this piece as a revanche of the Self against the vicissitudes of existence, but also as an innate longing toward the heights. Toward a metamorphosis of form into pure energy. Matter becoming spirit. The hollow portion that interrupts the ascent of the form toward the summit is characterized as a set of parts that, unused, remain pressed as empty traces of past experiences.
