Vova Titov is an Estonian born artist with a degree in interior design from the prestigious Herzen University in St. Petersburg. "Jazz Melody" An abstract Cubist composition executed in a rich, almost festive palette scarlet, ochre, emerald, burgundy, light blue, and black. A sinuous dark-burgundy ribbon, reminiscent of the neck of a double bass or a saxophone, winds across the canvas from top to bottom, while rows of circular shapes read like musical notes or keys scattered throughout the composition. A multitude of vibrant, rhythmically alternating planes create a sense of lively, syncopated movement a visual equivalent of jazz improvisation..
