Pair of two antique petroleum lamps from France dating to 1860-1940, made with verre, régule and fer, in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear and not in working order; the tall lamp is 72 cm high with the glass (48 cm without) and a 15.5 × 15.5 cm base, while the smaller lamp is 51.5 cm with the glass (27.5 cm without) and a 13.5 × 13.5 cm base, each featuring orange glass and one with an engraved number under the foot.

AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Set of 2 magnificent oil lamps from my collection with a deep orange glass.
They are complete. On my end they were used for decoration but are likely functional with their wick and in generally good condition.
Each has its own glass shade (some light etching marks shown in the photos but minimal). These will need cleaning; they have a bit of dust as you may notice. I marked them as non-functional because they haven’t been used for a long time and will, in any case, need to be brought back into operation.
There is one very large one with a base in the shape of an antique Greek column, reminiscent of temples. It measures 72 cm tall with the glass, i.e., 48 cm on its own, and the base is 15.5 x 15.5 cm.
The smaller one, already a nice size, measures 51.5 cm with the glass, 27.5 cm without, and the base 13.5 x 13.5 cm; the glass looks honeycomb-like and it bears a number engraved under the base.
Grouped shipping possible. Other lamps offered. In that case, pay for only one item and message me so I can adjust the price...
