Description from the seller
This bottle is Very rare and unobtainable in this format !
Excellent investiment! Exclusive wine
The Campogiovanni vineyards are located on the southern slope of Montalcino, an area where a particular microclimate and the composition of the soil create an ideal combination for a perfect maturation of the Sangiovese grosso. Campogiovanni is a traditional-style Brunello, which stands out for its finesse and longevity. Multiple award-winning, five times in the TOP 100 of Wine Spectator.
Intense ruby red color. Aromas of ripe berries, blackberry jam and notes of tobacco and leather. On the palate it is broad, soft, persistent, closing with notes of fruit in alcohol. Red meats in general, game, wild boar dishes, aged pecorino cheeses.
*96/100 James Suckling
