Elegant pair of spike candlesticks made of bronze, with marked neoclassical inspiration and Empire style, dating from the first half of the 20th century.
They present stylized balustraded shafts, broad circular dishes with a central spike for a candle, and magnificent stepped triangular bases, supported by three feet ending in claws inspired by zoomorphic forms. Their balanced architecture and the warm tone of the bronze confer them a notable ornamental presence.
Both pieces retain an attractive antique patina, with the signs and surface variations typical of the passage of time, which enhance the character of the set without diminishing its presence.
