Original advertising poster for the Vlaamsche Oude Klare-jenever from the Mouliez-Busschaert distillery in Kortrijk. Dated around 1920. Beautiful stone-engraving quality by lithography Myncke in Brussels. Stylistically, this ballgame scene leans toward the oeuvre of Cassiers, but it is almost certainly here that a talented collaborator from the Myncke printing house has worked.

Mouliez-Busschaert was a Kortrijk-based liqueur distillery founded in 1870 by the Mouliez-Tack family, later taken over by son Médard Mouliez-Busschaert.
The distillery was located in a building at Veemarkt 92 (now Wandelingstraat 2-4). In 1998 the company moved to Stasegem (Harelbeke) under the name "De Hazewind".
De Oude Klare is a malt jenever with a soft taste. The soft, pleasant flavor is achieved by the addition of juniper berries. In addition to the delicious taste, the berries provide a more aromatic jenever.
