Main Description:
This is a very rare and authentic Ministerial desk lamp, the official model issued to the offices of the Italian Ministry.
It is the famous model abroad defined as the "Banker's Lamp" or "Notary Lamp", but in this state-supplied version, as evidenced by the double original stamps impressed on the metal.
Details and Stamps (essential for authenticity):
1. On the upper edge of the metal base: LAMPADA MINISTERO 21191
2. On the bottom in cast iron: A. LAMPADA TIPO P.0000 MINISTERO with alloy number.
The acronym Tipo P.0000 identifies the standardized supply for the Italian Public Administration of the pre-war period.
The serial number 21191 is the ministerial inventory number.
Technical characteristics:
• Era: circa 1920 - 1935 (Kingdom of Italy period)
• Materials: Heavy cast-iron base with nickel-plated steel cover, solid brass stem, central black ebony/bakelite handle, opal glass shade – emerald green on the outside and milk white inside.
• Model: Goose-neck or "swan" with a top joint orientable to 90° and height adjustable, heavy round base to prevent tipping.
• Shade: Original trilobate tulip, iconic.
• Switch: Original lever type / functional.

• Base in steel with signs of use, light superficial patina on the cast-iron bottom as shown in the photos.
• Glass shade: no chips or cracks evident in the photos, presence of slight air bubbles typical of antique blown glass.
• Electrical system: original fabric-wrapped wiring still present. The lamp lights up, but for safety reasons it is recommended to have the wiring inspected by a professional before daily use. Sold as a collectible item.
