The Estate: Enrico Santini is a historic Bolgheri producer, renowned for being the very first producer in the denomination to obtain organic certification.
The Blend: It is a classic Bordeaux-style blend with a Tuscan touch, roughly composed of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 20% Syrah and 5% Sangiovese.
Aging: The wine usually matures for about 18-20 months in barrique (of which 60% are new for this specific debut vintage) and undergoes a long bottle aging.
