Authentic boudoir box in fine Saxon porcelain shaped like a violin (miniature)
German Romantic style of the Art Nouveau period. A collectible piece of great delicacy from the famous Erdmann manufactory (Suhl, Thuringia). The sound table is adorned with a superb bouquet of red ranunculus and delicate gold highlights.
The resonance box is adorned with butterflies.
Dating: 1900–1902
Presence of the original green stamp (Prov Saxony ES). The box has its original removable lid that fits perfectly.
Slight wear to the gilding due to its age.
