Gaby Acevedo - Mar - Aigéa (XL) - 'No Reserve'

"Aigéa" belongs to my Series "Sea", a collection of works in which I explore my relationship with the Mediterranean through abstraction. In this piece I seek to create a sense of expansiveness, calm, and depth, building an open space that invites the eye to pause.

My intention is to transfer to the canvas the experience of contemplating the sea, when the landscape ceases to be a concrete representation and becomes a feeling. The work thus proposes a personal take on the Mediterranean, open to the interpretation of whoever views it.

• "Mar – Aigéa" is a contemporary abstract artwork, unique and original, entirely hand-made with professional acrylic on cotton canvas.

• Dimensions of the work: 100 cm × 25 cm.

• Created directly in my studio.

• Canvas size:
The canvas measures approximately 110 cm × 35 cm, including the margin necessary for mounting on a 100 cm × 25 cm × 2 cm frame or to be framed according to your preference.

• Finish and protection: The work is protected with a professional satin varnish, which preserves the intensity of the colors and ensures its long-term conservation.

• Unique and original: Entirely hand-made, signed and dated on the back, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

Presentation:

• As it is an original work made entirely by hand with professional acrylic on canvas, the edges are painted as a continuation of the composition. The canvas retains an additional margin that facilitates its subsequent mounting on a stretcher or framing without altering the main image. Its vertical format allows easy integration into different spaces and decorating styles.

• The work does not include a stretcher frame or decorative frame.
• For an optimal finish, it is recommended that the mounting be performed by a professional.

About the artist:

My name is Gaby Acevedo. I am a visual artist. I live and produce my works in Spain. For more than 25 years I have developed an artistic practice focused on contemporary abstract painting, where color and light are the pillars of my visual language.

My work arises from research into the relationship between form, color, and perception. Each series responds to a distinct exploration, but all share the purpose of transforming the visual experience into a language open to emotion and free interpretation.

Each work is unique and entirely handmade in my studio with high-quality professional materials. All my paintings are signed, dated, and delivered accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
