Guerrieri Murano - Sculpture, Scultura da parete maiolica - 22 cm - Majolica - 1983

Multicolored ceramic/maiolica art sculpture signed by the Venetian artist Guerrieri in Murano, precisely dated on the back to June 1, 1983 (01-06-83).
The work depicts a grotesque figure with a pop/expressive vibe (a gondolier or stylized Venetian masked figure wearing sunglasses, a polka-dot vest, and a striped sweater) integrated with a front perforated basket and a wall plaque.
Signature / Marks on the back:
"GUERRIERI MURANO ITALY" (painted on a yellow band)
"01-06-83" (painted on a red band)
"A-386" (painted on a green band)
Function: Wall sculpture / figurative wall-mounted piece with a basket-shaped storage compartment.

Condition: The front portion and the chromatic glaze are in excellent condition. On the back there are remnants of glue/sticker from a previous wall mounting, which do not compromise the piece's integrity.
