“Vadum” is a unique and original abstract work from my “Velora” series, in which I explore the memory of landscapes and the sensations that linger from them over time. In this piece I work with shapes, layers of color and contrasts to create an open landscape, not depicting a concrete place. Painted entirely by hand with acrylic on canvas, “Vadum” offers a visual journey between forms and colors, leaving space for each viewer to find their own interpretation.

About the artist:

My name is Gaby Acevedo. I am a visual artist. I live and produce my works in Spain. For more than 25 years I have developed an artistic practice focused on contemporary abstract painting, where color, matter, and collage are the pillars of my visual language.
My work arises from observation and dialogue with landscapes, the spaces we inhabit, and the traces they leave in our memory. Each series responds to a different investigation, but all share the aim of transforming experience into a visual language open to emotion and free interpretation.
