Description from the seller
ULRICH GEY (1956)
Painting, sculpture and mixed media works.
Self-taught. I have been painting passionately for 40 years in all sorts of styles. Besides my work, among other things as a self-employed person for drawing commissions, I am repeatedly drawn to my easel. Thus came about "The Red Chair" as the first image in a series of many "chairs" with which I connect a certain calm, rest, inner contemplation, but also expectation and hope.
All my works are completely hand-painted originals.
"The Red Chair"
90 x 60 cm
Hand-signed acrylic painting on
380 g canvas and protected with varnish against sunlight and other influences.
WITHOUT stretcher. For mounting on a stretched canvas by the buyer there is an approx. 6 cm border allowance around."
