The works are shipped from the artist based in the United States to our logistics platform in France, which handles import and customs clearance, before being sent individually to our collectors without any constraints. The transport cost includes all fees from the United States to your home.

Karl Lagasse, a renowned artist, rose to prominence in 2009 with his One Dollar sculptures, ranking that same year among the ten best sculptors under 30 according to Artprice. In 2012, the New York publication Farameh named him one of the fifty best contemporary artists, inspired by traditional American icons, in its work FOR WHICH IT STANDS: Americana in Contemporary Art. More recently, in 2016, at the Art Paris Art Fair, the President of the French Republic warmly congratulated Karl on his impressive 2-meter bronze sculpture One Dollar, exhibited at the Grand Palais.

Karl’s artistic journey began at the age of 7 with collages, prompted by his encounter with sculptor César Baldaccini. He then turned to tagging and graffiti in the Paris metro while remaining passionate about collages. Artist Yvaral Vasarely encouraged him to fuse his tags with his collages. In 2003, Karl prepared his first exhibition in Paris, which led to his first solo show in 2006 at the Isy Brachot gallery in Brussels. In 2008, he returned to Paris with an exhibition combining paintings, sculptures, and video elements at the Espace Pierre Cardin.

Karl particularly enjoys unveiling his works at international exhibitions. In 2011, he was represented by the Bel Air Fine Art gallery at the Art Monaco fair with his Cryptogram One creation. The following year, he presented his One Dollar works on the theme "In God We Trust" at the Artco France gallery. His solo exhibition of 2016 at the Atrium gallery in Marbella, Spain, was inaugurated by the mayor, who praised his works in front of the international press.

2026:
- Finalization of the piece One Dollar Green Bronze 8 meters tall, 7 tons. The world’s largest One Dollar sculpture created by the artist.

2025:
- Installation of the monumental work Reflection of the Sun. Installed near the newly built Pavilion des Bains, on the Promenade Michel d’Ornano, inaugurated by Mayor Philippe Augier on September 8.

2024:
- Art Miami - Collective exhibitions Galerie Nicolas Auvray New York. For the occasion, a bronze cryptogram of 1.80 m and a 2-meter One Dollar were exhibited during the event.
- 50th anniversary of the Deauville American Film Festival, for which the artist created 18 bronze trophies as well as a 2-meter sculpture to be installed at the CID. The artists interviewed about the artist and who received the trophy include: Michael Douglas, Daisy Ridley, Natalie Portman, Michelle Williams, Mikey Madison...

2023:
- Aspen Saint Regis: Installation of the 2-meter One Dollar in front of the St. Regis. The Aspen Times covered the event in a dedicated article.
- Rapper Rick Ross posed with a Special St Regis edition One Dollar.

2022:
- New York: Times Square NY City, projection on the Nasdaq screen of the work “A One Dollar in the Cyberspace City.”

2017:
- Karl Lagasse succeeds the prestigious Cartier House in creating the trophies for the Deauville American Film Festival.

2016:
- Art Fair Paris at the Grand Palais
- A two-meter-tall, fully bronze One Dollar was exhibited at the Art Paris fair.
- The French president visited the exhibition and personally congratulated the artist for his work.
- Premiere in Spain at the Atrium Marbella gallery, a solo exhibition with new collections in the presence of the international press and the mayor of the city, Jose Bernal Gutierrez. A special performance by his wife, opera singer Cherise Lagasse, who performed pieces from her repertoire.

2015:
- Second collaboration with Maserati with the creation of a monumental installation titled “A Piece of Heaven on Earth.” This work features a Maserati covered with white plastic wrap and a sculpture of Jesus Christ. Around the car, several dollar-bill sculptures are placed on the ground, symbolizing the repayment of humanity’s greatest debt

2014:
- Maserati presents globally the Maserati Ghibli redesigned by artist Karl Lagasse for the brand’s 100th anniversary.
- Solo exhibition at the Italian Embassy in Paris. The Italian ambassador in France hosted a dinner in his presence, around the artist’s works.

2013:
- Collective exhibition Automobile Club of France, Place de la Concorde, Paris.

2012:
- Karl gifted the city of Deauville a bronze Cryptogram One sculpture, which remains permanently at the city entrance.
- For the 65th Cannes Film Festival, Karl created a sculpture “Building” made from a collage of photos retracing the festival’s historic moments.
