Antique Silver Vesta Case with Blue Enamel and Guilloché Decoration – Possibly Russian
An elegant antique silver vesta case, featuring refined guilloché engraving and a decorative blue enamel border.
The rectangular case is beautifully decorated with an intricate geometric guilloché pattern, framed by a delicate blue enamel border with a repeating wave motif. At the centre is a smooth oval cartouche, suitable for engraving a monogram or initials.
The reverse features an attractive, finely engraved geometric pattern covering almost the entire surface.
The case is fitted with a removable cylindrical striker, topped with a rounded finial, and a suspension ring, allowing it to be attached to a watch chain or carried as a personal accessory.
The combination of silver, delicate engraving and blue enamel gives this small object a particularly elegant appearance, characteristic of fine antique personal accessories.
