A face slowly emerges from the darkness, like an image surfacing from an inner dimension.

The contrast between white and black builds an intense and silent presence. Closed eyes, deep shadows, and graphic traces that cross the surface make the face unstable, suspended between recognizability and dissolution.

The visual matter fragments, breaks off and recomposes, letting emerge a figure that seems to guard something unexpressed.

An introspective work, in which the face becomes a threshold between what is shown and what remains hidden.
