The works are shipped from the artist based in the United States to our logistics platform in France, which handles import and customs clearance, before being individually returned to our collectors without any constraint. Transport costs include all fees from the United States to your home.

If the work is damaged, you must refuse delivery and note the reason for the refusal on the delivery slip, mentioning issues such as “broken,” “scratched,” “damaged,” or “folded.” If only the packaging is deteriorated but the content is intact, you may accept the package. However, if both the packaging and the content are damaged, you must refuse the package without hesitation. Note that if you accept the package without inspecting your purchase upon delivery, we cannot request compensation or replacement.

Karl Lagasse, a renowned artist, gained prominence in 2009 with his One Dollar sculptures, ranking that same year among the ten best sculptors under 30 according to Artprice. In 2012, the New York publication Farameh named him as one of the fifty best contemporary artists inspired by traditional American icons, in its book FOR WHICH IT STANDS: Americana in Contemporary Art. More recently, in 2016, at Art Paris Art Fair, the President of the French Republic warmly congratulated Karl on his impressive 2-meter bronze sculpture One Dollar, exhibited at the Grand Palais.

Karl Lagasse’s artistic journey began at age 7 with collages, inspired by his encounter with sculptor César Baldaccini. He then moved to tagging and graffiti in the Paris metro while remaining passionate about collages. Artist Yvaral Vasarely encouraged him to fuse his tags with his collages. In 2003, Karl prepared his first exhibition in Paris, which led to his first solo show in 2006 at the Isy Brachot gallery in Brussels. In 2008, he returned to Paris with an exhibition combining paintings, sculptures, and video elements at the Espace Pierre Cardin.

Karl particularly enjoys unveiling his works at international exhibitions. In 2011, he was represented by the Bel Air Fine Art gallery at the Art Monaco show with his Cryptogram One creation. The following year, he presented his One Dollar works on the theme “In God We Trust” at the Artco France gallery. His 2016 solo exhibition at the Atrium Gallery in Marbella, Spain was inaugurated by the mayor, who praised his works to the international press.

2026: - Finalization of the One Dollar Green Bronze 8 meters, 7 tons. The world's largest One Dollar sculpture created by the artist.
2025: - Installation of the monumental Reflection of the Sun. Installed near the brand-new Pavillon des Bains, on Promenade Michel d'Ornano, inaugurated by Mayor Philippe Augier on September 8.

2024: - Art Miami - Collective exhibitions Nicolas Auvray Gallery New York. For the occasion, a bronze cryptogram of 1.80 m and a 2-meter One Dollar were exhibited during the event.
- 50th anniversary of the Deauville American Film Festival; the artist created 18 bronze trophies as well as a 2-meter sculpture to be installed at the CID. The artists interviewed about the artist and who received the trophy are: Michael Douglas, Daisy Ridley, Natalie Portman, Michelle Williams, Mikey Madison...

2023: - Aspen Saint Regis: Installation of the 2-meter One Dollar in front of St. Regis. The Aspen Times covered the event in a dedicated article.
- Rapper Rick Ross posed with a special edition One Dollar St Regis.

2022: - New York: Times Square NY City, projection on the Nasdaq screen of the work “A One Dollar in the Cyberspace City.”

2019: - Deauville American Film Festival: the artist created a new sculpture, depicting his dollar engraved in aluminum.

2017: - Karl Lagasse succeeds the prestigious Cartier House in creating the trophies for the Deauville American Film Festival.

2016: - Art Fair Paris at the Grand Palais
- A two-meter-high “One Dollar,” entirely in bronze, was exhibited at Art Paris.
- The French president visited the exhibition and personally congratulated the artist for his work.
- First in Spain at the Atrium Gallery in Marbella, solo exhibition with new collections in the presence of international press and the city's mayor, Jose Bernal Gutierrez. Special performance by his wife, opera singer Cherise Lagasse, who performed pieces from her repertoire.

2015: - Second collaboration with Maserati with the creation of a monumental installation titled “A Piece of Heaven on Earth.” This work features a Maserati covered with a white plastic film and a sculpture of Jesus Christ. Around the car, several dollar-bill sculptures are placed on the ground, symbolizing the repayment of humanity’s greatest debt

2014: - Maserati presents in the world premiere the Maserati Ghibli reimagined by Karl Lagasse for the brand’s 100th anniversary.
- Solo exhibition at the Italian Embassy in Paris. The Italian ambassador in France organized a dinner in his presence, around the artist’s works.

2013: - Collective exhibition Automobile Club de France, Place de la Concorde, Paris.

2012: - Karl donated to the city of Deauville a Crytogram One bronze sculpture, which remains permanently at the city’s entrance.
- For the 65th Cannes Film Festival anniversary, Karl created a sculpture “Building” composed of a collage of photos tracing the festival’s key moments.
