The works are shipped from the artist based in the United States to our logistics platform in France, which handles import and customs clearance, before returning them individually to our collectors without constraint. The transport cost includes all charges from the United States to your home.

If the work is damaged, you must refuse delivery and note the reason for the refusal on the delivery note, indicating issues such as “broken,” “scratched,” “damaged,” or “bent.” If only the packaging is deteriorated but the contents are intact, you may accept the package. However, if both the packaging and the contents are damaged, you must refuse the package without hesitation. If you submit a withdrawal request, DHL fees will remain at your expense. You will be responsible for the DHL Express shipping fees, which are non-refundable. Karl Lagasse, a renowned artist, gained fame in 2009 with his One Dollar sculptures, placing him among the ten best sculptors under 30 according to Artprice that same year. In 2012, the New York publication Farameh named him one of the fifty best contemporary artists inspired by traditional American icons, in its book FOR WHICH IT STANDS: Americana in Contemporary Art. More recently, in 2016, at the Art Paris Art Fair, the President of the French Republic warmly congratulated Karl on his impressive two-meter bronze sculpture One Dollar, displayed at the Grand Palais.

Karl Lagasse’s artistic journey began at age 7 with collages, spurred by his meeting with sculptor César Baldaccini. He later turned to tagging and graffiti in the Paris metro while remaining passionate about collages. The artist Yvaral Vasarely encouraged him to merge his tags with his collages. In 2003, Karl prepared his first exhibition in Paris, which led to his first solo show in 2006 at the Isy Brachot gallery in Brussels. In 2008, he returned to Paris with an exhibition combining paintings, sculptures, and video elements at the Espace Pierre Cardin.

Karl particularly likes unveiling his works at international exhibitions. In 2011, he was represented by Bel Air Fine Art at the Art Monaco fair with his Cryptogram One creation. The following year, he presented his One Dollar works on the theme “In God We Trust” at the Artco France gallery. His solo show in 2016 at the Atrium gallery in Marbella, Spain, was inaugurated by the mayor, who praised his works in front of the international press.

2026: Finalization of the One Dollar Green Bronze 8 meters, 7 tons. The world's largest One Dollar sculpture created by the artist.
2025: Installation of the monumental Reflection of the Sun. Installed near the brand-new Pavillon des Bains, on the Promenade Michel d’Ornano, inaugurated by the mayor Philippe Augier on September 8.

2024: Art Miami - Group exhibitions Galerie Nicolas Auvray New York. For the occasion, a 1.8-meter bronze cryptogram and a 2-meter One Dollar were exhibited during the event.
- 50th anniversary of the Deauville American Film Festival; for the occasion, the artist created 18 bronze trophies as well as a 2-meter sculpture to be installed at the CID. The artists interviewed about the artist and who received the trophy include: Michael Douglas, Daisy Ridley, Natalie Portman, Michelle Williams, Mikey Madison...

2023: Aspen Saint Regis: Installation of the 2-meter One Dollar in front of the St. Regis. The Aspen Times covered the event in a dedicated article.

2022: New York: Times Square NY City, projection on Nasdaq screen of the work “A One Dollar in the Cyberspace City.”

2017: Karl Lagasse succeeds the prestigious Cartier House in the creation of the Deauville American Film Festival trophies.

2016: Art Fair Paris at the Grand Palais
- A two-meter-high One Dollar, fully bronze, was exhibited at Art Paris.
- The French president visited the exhibition and personally congratulated the artist for his work.
- First in Spain at the Atrium gallery in Marbella, solo exhibition with new collections in the presence of the international press and the mayor of the city, Jose Bernal Gutierrez. Special performance by his wife, opera singer Cherise Lagasse, who performed pieces from her repertoire.

2015: Second collaboration with Maserati with the creation of a monumental installation titled “A Piece of Heaven on Earth.” This work features a Maserati covered with a white plastic film and a sculpture of Jesus Christ. Around the car, several sculptures representing one-dollar bills are placed on the ground, symbolizing the repayment of humanity’s greatest debt

2014: Maserati presents the worldwide premiere of the Maserati Ghibli reimagined by artist Karl Lagasse to celebrate the marque’s 100th anniversary.

2013: Collective exhibition Automobile Club de France, Place de la Concorde, Paris.

2012: Karl gifted the city of Deauville a bronze Crytogram One sculpture, which will remain permanently at the city’s entrance.
- For the 65th anniversary of the Cannes Festival, Karl created a sculpture “Building” made from a collage of photos tracing the festival’s key moments.
