The works are shipped from the artist based in the United States to our logistics platform in France, which handles import and customs clearance, before returning them individually to our collectors without any constraints. The transport cost includes all fees from the United States to your home.

If the artwork is damaged, you must refuse delivery and indicate the reason for the refusal on the delivery note, noting problems such as “broken,” “scratched,” “damaged,” or “folded.” If only the packaging is deteriorated but the content is intact, you may accept the package. However, if both the packaging and the content are damaged, you must refuse the package without hesitation. Note that if you accept the package without verifying your purchase upon delivery, we will not be able to request compensation or replacement.

Karl Lagasse, a renowned artist, gained prominence in 2009 with his One Dollar sculptures, ranking among the ten best sculptors under 30 that year according to Artprice. In 2012, the New York publication Farameh named him as one of the fifty best contemporary artists, inspired by traditional American icons, in its book FOR WHICH IT STANDS: Americana in Contemporary Art. More recently, in 2016, at the Art Paris Art Fair, the President of the French Republic warmly congratulated Karl on his impressive two-meter bronze sculpture One Dollar, exhibited at the Grand Palais.

Karl’s artistic journey began at age 7 with collages, spurred by his meeting with sculptor César Baldaccini. He then turned to tagging and graffiti in the Paris metro while remaining passionate about collages. The artist Yvaral Vasarely encouraged him to merge his tags with his collages. In 2003, Karl prepared his first exhibition in Paris, which led to his first solo show in 2006 at Galerie Isy Brachot in Brussels. In 2008, he returned to Paris with an exhibition combining paintings, sculptures, and video elements at Espace Pierre Cardin.

Karl especially enjoys unveiling his works at international exhibitions. In 2011, he was represented by Bel Air Fine Art at the Art Monaco fair with his Cryptogram One. The following year, he presented his One Dollar works on the theme “In God We Trust” at Galerie Artco France. His 2016 solo exhibition at Galerie Atrium in Marbella, Spain, was inaugurated by the mayor, who praised his works to the international press.

2026: - Finalization of One Dollar Green Bronze 8 meters, 7 tons. The world’s largest One Dollar sculpture created by the artist.
2025: - Installation of the monumental Reflection of the Sun. Installed near the newly built Bath Pavilion on Promenade Michel d’Ornano, inaugurated by Mayor Philippe Augier on September 8.
2024: - Art Miami - Group shows Galerie Nicolas Auvray New York. For the occasion, a bronze cryptogram 1.80 m and a 2-meter One Dollar were exhibited during the event.
- 50th anniversary of the Deauville American Film Festival; for the occasion, the artist created 18 bronze trophies as well as a 2-meter sculpture to be installed at the CID. 2015: - Second collaboration with Maserati with the creation of a monumental installation titled “A Piece of Heaven on Earth.” This work features a Maserati covered with white plastic film and a sculpture of Jesus Christ.
