Stool - Wood, Leather - Pouf stool

Elegant vintage round stool/ottoman, featuring a dark solid-wood frame and a softly padded seat upholstered in warm cognac-coloured leather, finished around the edge with a row of decorative studs. An authentic and characterful piece, suitable for classic, rustic, vintage or eclectic interiors.

The generously proportioned seat has a softly padded form, with the leather retaining attractive warm natural tones together with the normal signs of age and use. The decorative studded edging gives the stool a particularly traditional appearance. The structure is supported by four straight solid-wood legs, showing natural surface wear, abrasions and small marks consistent with its age and previous use.

It would work beautifully in a living room, bedroom, entrance hall, study, boutique or vintage-style interior, either as an occasional seat, footstool or decorative furnishing piece.

Condition: Overall good vintage condition, with visible and attractive signs of age and use. The leather shows some colour variation, minor marks and areas of wear. The wooden structure also presents surface abrasions and imperfections. The underside of the seat has an old supporting fabric which is worn and partially torn, as clearly shown in the photographs. This is part of the present condition of the piece and could be restored according to the new owner’s preference. The original character of the stool has been preserved.
